Percepscion at the heart of the Connected Home

Percepscion’s CES2014 experience showcases the arrival of the user-friendly Smart Home.  Strong interest from well-informed event attendees has highlighted the shift away from proprietary systems towards an open ecosystem of plug-and-play devices from a range of providers.

Our early-event experience has identified the evolution of the Connected Home as a dominant theme, where appliances talk to each other through common standards such as the ZigBee protocol used by Percepscion devices.

Speaking from the opening day of the event, Percepscion CEO Joe Losinno said, “Technology and service providers are converging around the Connected Home to move it towards the mainstream.  Percepscion is part of this push, with a range of devices that sit within and are complementary to the emerging Smart Home ecosystem”.

Exhibiting as part of the ZigBee Alliance pavilion, Percepscion is at the forefront of this convergence,  ChargeIQ – Percepscion’s intelligent electric vehicle charging system – brings together the electricity grid, electric vehicle and driver for the benefit of all, while LiveVu is a real-time energy data platform that supports service innovation.
